I got a hell of a lot more than I bargained for this year…

I do know this, that if it weren’t for a few good friends, I would not be returning. I’ve learned that one lunch a week with two people who mean a lot to you, can turn a bad week into a good one.

I’ve learned that a good friends hug can help you see that everything is going to be okay.

I’ve learned that the reason your friend comes and literally drags you out of bed is because she loves you and wants you to stop being a brat, it’s not because she’s out to get you… Well, I never thought the latter anyways.

I’ve learned that all you have to do is smile, keep your head up, and keep what’s important ahead of the rest. It’s not going to be perfect, but the rest will take care of itself.

You don’t know what I left to come here.

But now I just realized what I’m leaving to go back.

Either way it’s a lose / lose situation.

But hopefully I’ll get to see those people in July ;)

And either way, I’m ready to go home.
It’s where I’ve needed to be for a long time now.
I’m just trying to figure out which one’s home.
