And Hansel said Gretel…Part II

And Hansel said Gretel…Part II

And Hansel said Gretel; let us drop these bread crumbs so that together we find our way home, because losing our way, would be the most cruel of things.  It was another one of those journeys. It was another journey with new and old rides, new and old drivers, and of course, new and old passengers. Ok – Maybe I just think it was another one of those journeys. Hiding is not a form of protection; it’s a form of guilt. Knowing something is wrong, yet pride stepping in the way of coming to terms with yourself. Hum- I’m sure it was another one of those journeys. I do not know why I am surprised there is a part two – pure naïve thoughts? – I think. Now I’m not longer positive. I lost myself in search for somebody who was not me. An adolescent game of hide and seek. Where standing in plane sight, the simplest of spots, suddenly becomes the most intricate. Yes – It was one of those journeys. That fork in the road proposes two options. To the right, where you would be backtracking, in hopes of going straight eventually; Or the left, where you are just as clueless as those embarking along with you. When do you notice you are the type of person you do not want to be? July 2007? Is that when you became that person, or the moment you realized it? Regardless, others realized it before you did. Because sometimes, you have to step outside the person you have been, and remember the person you were meant to be, the person you wanted to be, and the person you are. At which point do you decide what you are and are not willing to change. What you are willing to throw away, and what you’re willing to keep.. Is it your decision at all? Losing your way on your journey is difficult, but do not lose your reasoning for that journey. Go ahead and drop your bread crumbs. I guarantee you they will not be there on your way back. But that does not mean that you stop. It never means that you stop. Ah, yes – I am sure, it was one of those journeys. Because the truth is, you will be shaped into the person you are to become. And you know it is better then a dull paved road, safe and off to nothing but pure boredom. So loosing your way, yes it is unfortunate, but it is every bit necessary as well.

There, there baby, it’s just textbook stuff. It’s in the ABC’s of growing up.

George Bernard Shaw was correct on his two tragedies in life.
